Welcome to Collierville Schools! We are thrilled to introduce you to our Kindergarten program, where every day is an adventure in learning and discovery. Filling out the Kindergarten Intent Form is an important first step for families with upcoming kindergarteners. This is not registration. Instead, the form simply lets your zoned school know that your child plans to attend kindergarten in the fall. By completing it, you ensure the school can communicate with you about upcoming important information.

Kindergarten Intent Form

2026-27 Upcoming Kindergarten Events: 

  • April 23 at 6 PM – Kindergarten Kickoff at your zoned school
  • May 4-7 (9:30 AM-11:30 AM each day) – Kindergarten Early Registration at your zoned school
  • July 8, 15, 22 (8:30-11:30 AM each day) - New Student Registration
    • Parents only need to attend New Student Registration if they did not complete all necessary paperwork during the early registration period in early May.
  • July 30 – Registration/Orientation Day (everyone attends)
  • August 5, 6, 7, 10 – Kindergarten Stagger Days
  • August 12 – Kindergarten’s First Day of School

 

New Student Registration Dates

Collierville Schools offers three New Student Registration dates in July for any child new to Collierville Schools. If you register during the Early Registration opportunity at your zoned school, you do not need to come to one of the following dates. 

  1. July 8 - 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  2. July 15 - 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
  3. July 22 - 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Kindergarten Entrance Age

Your child(ren) must be FIVE (5) years-of-age on or before August 15, 2026 per Collierville Schools Board of Education Policy 6.201. No exceptions.
