2024-2025 Back-to-School Guide

Hello and welcome to our Back-to-School Guide for the 2024-2025 academic school year. Here you will find resources pertaining to your child(ren)’s upcoming school year.

  • District Orientation Day is August 5, 2024

    Elementary School, Middle School, and New Student Registration at your zoned school

    Morning Session: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
    Evening Session: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

    High School Orientation/Registration
    Returning High School Students:

    • 12th Grade: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
    • 11th Grade: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM 
    • 10th Grade: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
    • 9th Grade Orientation: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM


    New High School Student Registration (New to Collierville)
    All Grades: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

    All Returning Students
    1. Must have completed their online registration update. Contact your home school if you have questions about registration.

    2. Must show two proofs of residency.

    No Bus Transportation for Orientation Day
    Acceptable Proofs of Residency:
    Everyone must provide two (2) of the following items showing the PARENT/GUARDIAN’S name and address to prove residency: Driver’s License, Public/Government Benefits or Assistance, Sales Contract (contingency agreements not accepted), Real Estate Tax Receipt, Mortgage Information, Current MLG&W bill or Turn on Receipt, Municipal Water Bill, Rental or Lease Contract.

    Shared Residence Verification:
    (First Time Shared Residence must be approved through Student Services)

    Shared Residence Proof:
    Parents/guardians who live with another person must provide a Notarized Shared Residence Affidavit, along with two (2) proofs of residency from the following list: Driver’s License, Car Registration, Voter Registration, Payroll Stub, Three (3) Significant Pieces of Mail or Government Assistance Communication. The homeowner must also be present and provide two (2) proofs of residence from the acceptable proof list. For questions contact the schools or Student Services at (901) 286-6398.

    Kindergarten Enrollment:
    Students enrolling in kindergarten must provide the following: 1) Certified Birth Certificate, 2) Proof of Immunization, 3) Social Security Number, 4) Physical Examination. A child must be five (5) years of age on or before August 15, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year to be admitted to kindergarten. There is no early entrance into Kindergarten.

    New Student Enrollment:
    New 1st grade – 12th grade students enrolling who have not previously enrolled must provide the following: 1) Certified Birth Certificate, 2) Official Health Certificate of Immunization, 3) Social Security Number, 4) Last Report Card if available.

    Immunization and Health Records:
    K-12 students must provide an Official Health Certificate of Immunization filled out by a medical provider. Physical exams (within the prior 12 months of registration) are required for entry into kindergarten. New students enrolling in a TN school for the first time will also be required to provide a physical exam. (Within the prior 12 months of registration). 7th grade students will need to show proof of their TDAP booster.

    Dates:
    1. July 10 - 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
    2. July 24 - 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
    3. July 31 - 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

    Registration will take place at your zoned school. 

    High School registration will take place in the school library. Please enter door #3 on the north side near the greenhouse.

    Paperwork Required for Registration: 

    *Transfer students must have already paid their tuition prior to registering at their school*

    1. Certified Birth Certificate
    2. Certificate of Immunization
    3. Social Security Number
    4. Last Report Card if available

    K-12 students must provide a Health Certificate of Immunization filled out by a medical provider. Physical exams (within 12 months of registration) are required for entry into kindergarten. New students enrolling in a Tennessee school for the first time will also be required to provide a physical exam (within the previous 12 months of registration). 

    Proofs of Residency (The Most Recent Documents): 

    Everyone must provide two (2) of the following items showing the parent/guardian's name and address to prove residency: Driver's License, Public/Government Benefits or Assistance, Sales Contract (Contingency Agreements NOT accepted), Real Estate Tax Receipt, Mortgage Information, Current MLG&W bill or Turn On Receipt, Municipal Water Bill, Rental or Lease Contract. 

    **New apartment leases must include as one of their documents their current MLG&W bill or Turn On Receipt**

    Breakfast: $1.75
    K-8 Lunch: $3.00
    High School Lunch: $3.25

    How To Load Money To School Café Account
    1st through 12th grade parent/guardians can load money to their student's School Café account for breakfast, lunch, and snack A' La Carte items beginning on August 1, 2024. Kindergarten student's parents will need to wait until their student is added to the School Café system.

  • Parents who are interested in receiving free or reduced priced meals will need to fill out a lunch application (one per family). It is not required for every family to fill out an application. Families qualify for free or reduced lunch based on income and household size.

    Each school will have hard copies at School Orientation Day on August 5, 2024.

    Parent/guardians will need to use your student's School Café # to access the application. If you need your student's School Café number to set up an account, call the Collierville Schools Nutrition Department at (901) 286-6370, (901) 286-6371, or (901) 286-6372 between the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

    Grace Period
    Anyone with previous free or reduced status (2023-24 School Year) will remain in status until September 13 or until they fill out a NEW application. 

  • We are excited to announce our continued partnership with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year. The platform also pre-populates information wherever possible, saving time. 

    Users may review data at any time to verify accuracy. All users will be required to sign forms once per year after the open date.  A reminder that all forms and physical examinations completed on or after April 15 will be good for the duration of the following school year.

  • Below is a list of medical paperwork for students who need emergency medications or daily medications at school. Each form will need to be authorized by the student’s physician. For questions, please contact Meghan Seay, Coordinated School Health Supervisor at (901) 286-6397.

  • The School Zone Locator is available to verify your school of assignment based on your home address. Follow the directions below using the appropriate link.

    1. Click the link to access the elementary, middle or high school zone locator.
    2. Enter the complete address with street number, street name, city, state and zip code in the search box in the upper left hand corner. 
    3. The map will zoom to the location.
    4. Click on the map to view the school of assignment (it will appear inside the location box at the top).

    Use the + or - buttons in the upper left corner of the map to zoom in or out.

    Users of the school zone locator are advised to contact each school directly to ensure the school assignment has been identified correctly.
