Collierville Schools is proud to announce that Dr. Brandi De La Cruz, the 2024–2025 Collierville High School Teacher of the Year, has been selected as one of 27 Region-Level Semi-Finalists for the Tennessee Department of Education’s (TDOE) Teacher of the Year award.

Dr. De La Cruz was chosen from a competitive pool of more than 300 educators across the state. As a semi-finalist, she is now invited to complete the next phase of the application process. Later this month, the TDOE scoring committee will select nine finalists from this group to advance to the final round of consideration.

This recognition reflects Dr. De La Cruz’s outstanding dedication to student success and her commitment to excellence in education. Collierville Schools congratulates her on this well-deserved honor and wishes her continued success in the selection process.
